The "Halophile"

I've been working on a personal robot-based scifi short and needed to binge-build an organic just to shake things up :P Felt like something that looked "rough and tough" but still alien. Then for some reason I was thinking..."salt". I have no idea why, but I thought it could be a cool texture to play around with...then before you know it the "Halophile" was born.
